About CT Riozinho

CT Riozinho, the first footvolley school in Florianópolis, was created by Pedrão (Pedro Arêas) and Juan "Gringo" (Juan Manuel Gonzalez). Around 2013 and 2014, Juan was already training people sporadically and, when he met Pedro at Campeche Beach, more specifically at the Riozinho spot, one of the places where footvolley was played in Florianópolis, a strong friendship began. Pedro, a physical educator, and Juan, a footvolley player and athlete, combined their experience to create the first footvolley and sand conditioning training center in Florianópolis. After two years, they met brothers Bruno and Leandro Quiruelas, inviting them to learn footvolley and, shortly after, to teach classes together. Seven years after starting beach activities and teaching in several places across the island, CT Riozinho had the opportunity to establish itself and have its own home. With the arrival of two more members of the friends group, who became CT partners, Douglas Cauduro and Violeta Reis, the permanent headquarters came to life at Clube Esportivo Campinas. The story continues to generate knowledge, friendships, health, and happiness through sport.
